The ViiVConnect Provider Portal is a secure, 24/7 resource that you can use to enroll patients in ViiVConnect, manage and track patient cases...

ANNOUNCER:

...and case status, submit electronic prior authorizations and get updates in real time, and more.

 

ANNOUNCER:

Only healthcare professionals and other authorized users can access and use the Provider Portal. In this video, we’ll take a look at the portal features and how they can help streamline your process.

Registration

 

ANNOUNCER:

The first step to getting started on the portal is to register by visiting ViiVConnectPortal.com and clicking the Sign Up button. In order to comply with HIPAA rules, each user will need their own user name and password.

 

ANNOUNCER:

You’ll need to select a user type, which will determine the information and functions to which you have access, and fill out the required fields.

 

ANNOUNCER:

After you create your account, you’ll get an email with an activation link. You can create your password using that link.

 

ANNOUNCER:

Once you complete your registration and activate your account, you will need to set up affiliations in order to have full access to patient information.

Setting Up Affiliations

ANNOUNCER:

Users registered as providers will need to affiliate to a site. Nurses and office staff users will need to affiliate with a provider. Each office may also designate an office administrator to approve these affiliations.

 

ANNOUNCER:

To start setting up affiliations, go to the My Offices tab in your user profile and click Request New Office to search for your office and submit one or more affiliation requests. After your affiliation requests are submitted, ViiVConnect will reach out to each office administrator to verify the new user information.

ANNOUNCER:

You can call ViiVConnect to get verified right away or wait for us to call you within 48 hours. This step helps ensure the security of all patient information, as it can only be accessed by users who have been approved by ViiVConnect.

Enrolling Patients

 

ANNOUNCER:

You can start enrolling patients by choosing New Enrollment from the Patient Enrollment dropdown. You can also choose Incomplete Enrollments to finish an enrollment that was started earlier.

 

ANNOUNCER:

Once you complete the Patient Information section and choose an office and provider,...

 

ANNOUNCER:

...you will select the specific medication and services required for that patient. This will bring you to the appropriate enrollment form.

 

ANNOUNCER:

During the enrollment process, you can indicate whether your patient will be applying for the Patient Assistance Program by selecting it from the list of ViiVConnect Services.

Patient Assistance Program

 

ANNOUNCER:

For patients receiving ViiV Healthcare oral medications, you can apply for the program by completing the Patient Financial Information and Patient Eligibility sections of the enrollment form.

 

ANNOUNCER:

If your patient will be receiving CABENUVA and you did not select Patient Assistance Program from the list of required services on the previous screen, you can apply for the program by choosing “CABENUVA ViiVConnect PAP” from the Select Enrollment Form Screen.

 

ANNOUNCER:

In order to complete ViiVConnect enrollment, you and your patient will need to sign the form.

 

ANNOUNCER:

Providers can use eSignature at the time of enrollment, and you can use the drop-down menus at the bottom of the page to choose whether your patient will eSign now or through an email link.

*In order to utilize eSignature, the provider must be enrolled.

 

ANNOUNCER:

Alternatively, you can print and sign the form with your patient and fax or mail it to ViiVConnect.

Prior Authorization and Case Management

 

FOOTNOTE ON SCREEN:

ViiVConnect cannot submit information or paperwork to the insurance company on behalf of your office.

 

ANNOUNCER:

Patient enrollments are not all you can do in the portal.

 

ANNOUNCER:

If a payer requires prior authorization, you can start, submit, and check on the status of prior authorization requests for select ViiV Healthcare medications right in the portal—no printing required!

 

ANNOUNCER:

You can go to My Cases and search for a patient’s name to get real-time updates on patient case status, view their benefits information, or check the Patient Documents section for any missing information. The portal allows you to review coverage status and case history without digging through paper files or making phone calls.

Resources

 

ANNOUNCER:

The Resources section of the portal has frequently asked questions, printable enrollment forms, and helpful links. There’s also an Invite User function that can send an email with registration instructions to new users, and you can choose how often you want to get email notifications about portal events.
